The event will be preceded by a short Annual General Meeting of Redbridge Music Society (members only) from 7:30 to 7:50 pm
Local flautist and recorder player Daniel Swani is an exceptionally talented young musician. He played with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Olympics Opening Ceremony in London in 2012 and in 2014 was the winner of the Stratford and East London Young Musician of the Year competition. In 2015 he played principal flute at the Royal Festival Hall with Redbridge Symphony Orchestra and in the samr year left Redbridge Music Service to start studies at the Purcell School of Music. He is also been studying at the Royal College of Music (Junior Department) since 2013. We are delighted that Daniel will be performing for us this evening. He will be accompanied by Leslie Phillips (piano).
